Zone Final

Hi again.

Its time for zone finals and I am completely horrified..Any way Im going soon and my mothe'rs going to be there to make me more confident and some of the school students will be coming to support me which is really helpful .I'm really afraid that if I'm the  last one  to say my speech then all of the others will go up on stage and say thier speech magnificentaly.When I go up to say my speeech I might vomit or even blackout (Hopefully it does'nt really happen).I am really excited at the same time because I could actually win and if I dont even  get first at least it will make me happy that I represented my school and be proud of myself.If I come first I will be shocked or even blackout again. Ha ha!I hope my school is proud of  me and  the second and third runner ups. 

Hello everyone

I've got amazing news! It's so fantastic it made me cry. I was picked to represent room 24 for...
speeches!
And guess what I came 2nd  but I wished I came 1st  but at least someone from our class is still going to represent viscount school .So brilliant right but I'm still sad because of that person!
(I hope he doesn't come on the big day so I can represent my school and win the competition)

well I did something that would make you cry, make you eager to stop the problem .
Animal cruelty!
Did you know two teenagers killed a total of seventeen cats, another dog named Rudy was neglected and abused so badly that you could see every rib on the dog. This sorrowful  information that I have shared with you is not the only sad information there were sooooooooooooooooooooooo many more but I wouldn't want to make your eyes watery.
 That is why I wanted to do animal cruelty because I wanted to show everyone how we can all make  a difference in animals lives, because by 2022 22% of all species will be extinct if no action is taken.
So help the world stop animal cruelty.

My speech ... Recycling

On the day we had to say our speeches, I [Flowenna] was really nevous , I just felt like running out of the hall and giving up. However I pulled myself together. As time flew by mynervousness increased.It was finally my turn. I took one step on the stageand  I was going to run but... I didn't want to let my class mates ,teacher and family down. Nervously I spoke as clearly and loudly as I could.Once I was finished I had a great time of 2 min and 30 sec. But in the end Hananh came 3rd, Celestine came 2nd and the winner is ..........Jeremy. But at least I tried my best and I am very proud of myself. It's better to do a speeche than to not do one.

The importance of reading

Goose bumps is one thing I had as soon as I stood on to the stage,freinds yelling woohoo!I'm thinking what a big crowd.I started my speech with a loud voice and I  thinking  in my head, " Do remember the gestures".When it was time to finish I started to forget what comes after what and sort of felt I would muck up.This is what made me think ,"I'm definitly not going to win."But... In 3 place dadadada...Hannah Wood ward!!...In second place dadadada...Celestine Keki!!(After Mrs woods announced  this I thought I might be the one to win the first place, I could even hear the audience whispering "Jeremy, Jeremy")And in  the first place dadadada...Jeremy Leoo Olo!!I was shocked, I was proud and  I was  totally surprised.I would like to say thank you to the audience and judges  for their encouragement.

Happy days

Boom! Boom! Buzz! Buzz! did you hear that? Well thats the sound of our brilliant minds buzzing with creative ideas.  All you had to do was to make posters and some video clips that are about 2 minutes long.

We made up a song called " Oh Happy Days" we kind of changed the words . And now that we changed the words we all thought that the song is perfect. The song is mostly about our favourite subjects like reading, writing, maths and inquiry. We all used our 3 hearts and those hearts were persistence, confidence, and responsibility.

Now that our posters and video's are uploaded we are all hopping that we are going to win.We worked really very very hard so ,good Luck room 24.

I Love Learning!!!

Kia Ora,

Who here loves learning? Well I absolutley love learning! When I learn about all the wonderful things I feel as if knowledge hops in my brain and dances . Thats why our class has decided to enter an "I Love Learning" competition.

I love learning because you get to discover new things and you get to use amazing technology such as I- pads and Active- Boards!! By the way, can you guess what the awesome prize  that could be won? It is an... I- Pad!

My fingers are crossed so tight (because we want to win) that they have turned red! We decided to make a movie that will showcase why we love learning. In our movie we had asked some lovely children why they loved learning and we also added some pictures of awesome kids learning new things.

We also decided to make up a dance that was full of comical moves and we decided to film it and upload it on the website!

So I hope Viscount School will win that grand prize which will help us alot in our learning!!
