A Brave Dog named Tigger!

Kia ora and hello,

I am a student from viscount school (room 24) and I am here to tell you about a brave dog named Tigger.Tigger is a shih tzu dog.When Tigger was left outside she escaped and found her way home.To do this, she travelled 6.4 kilometers along the roads.Tigger is completely blind in one eye and has a very poor sight in the other eye.Tigger is also fully deaf.

So I am amazed to hear about a dog that is blind in one eye and can't see properly in the other and also fully deaf but travelled 6.4 kilometers along the roads.

Accidental Inventions and Discoveries

Ooh- lala! This awesome new book that we are reading is packed full of  awesome discoveries and inventions. My favourite discovery was by a man named  Archimedes  who is known for his theory.He  filled a bathtub  with water right up to the brim and when he got into it the water rose and spilled  out  of the tub.This made him come up with a theory called Archimedes Principle.He said ,"EUREKA"
Have you ever wondered who invented super glue? Well it wasnt an invention, it was a discovery! Dr. Harry Coover wanted to create heat resistant plastic but he accidentally discovered super glue! Super glue is one of the most used products in the world!
So if you have the chance to read that book go for it!

Wow! What a brilliant context for inquiry. SUCCESS! At first I really didnt know what it was going to be... honestly. I didnt really want to do it either. But now, I want to know more about it. But there is nothing left to learn, because we already got all the information we needed, but the best thing is that we are going to be successful too! I really liked Oprah Winfrey and Benjamin Carson because they inspired me to follow my dream!

What im going to do is achieve all my goals first and try to earn a scholarship. I will also read alot of books to learn more about the things I am going to do. I would really be happy to be a doctor in the future.

Term 3

This term Ithink I am going to do very well in my learning and my personal learning. The holidays were very very boring thats why Im so eager to do a lot of new learning like problem solving and our new personal learning and new inquiry learning context. I will keep you posted .

I would like to talk to you about my holiday because it turned from a  fun holiday like pools to a boring holiday  like sitting down.That's why I was enthusiastic to learn new strategies in maths because maths is my favourite subject.I also can't wait to do my new personal learning.That's why school is fun.

"I Wonder Project" term 2

Wow! I have successfully finished/ presented my "I Wonder Project" last term. My project was on the Titanic! If you are wondering 'what did she add into her project?' Well I added alot of facts. Did you know... that the Titanic was the length of 40 buses! That is alot of buses! Also apparently a new Titanic is being built by an Australian billionaire named Clive Palmer.So if you want to buy a ticket you better start saving your pennies!!
While presenting my project I was nervous and I was shaking as if I was in Antarctica. At the end of my presentation I was proud of myself for achieving and finishing my project. I was also very happy with myself.
